Storybook Studio is an extension of Grace Academy Curriculum. Storybook Studio is faith-based program designed to engage young learners in themed story times followed by hands-on activities that extend the learning experience while integrating biblical principles. Each session will feature a carefully selected book, an interactive discussion, and a creative activity that aligns with the theme of the story. Activities will include crafts, STEM projects, dramatic play, and other enrichment experiences that encourage creativity, literacy, and spiritual growth.

This week in class, we are reading The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. This engaging and humorous book teaches children about communication, emotions, and the importance of using their gifts. Through this lesson, we are connecting the story to the biblical truth that God has given each of us unique gifts, and we should use them with gratitude and joy (1 Peter 4:10).
What We Are Learning:
ELA Skill Focus: Persuasive letter writing & character traits
Bible Connection: Using our God-given gifts with joy
Art Activity: Creating a unique crayon character & collaborative class collage
Bible Verse to Discuss Together:
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." – 1 Peter 4:10
Thank you for your support in helping your child grow academically and spiritually. We are excited to see their creativity shine!
