This lesson is designed to engage students across all age groups—Kindergarten through Middle School—helping them understand the significance of this important event in Christian faith.

Lesson Overview: The lesson will begin with a Family Devotional time, encouraging reflection on key Bible passages (Matthew 26:17-30, Mark 14:12-26, Luke 22:7-23, John 13:1-30). This time will foster meaningful discussions about Jesus' love, sacrifice, and the importance of community and service.

Following the devotional, students will participate in age-appropriate activities:

  • Kindergarten to 2nd Grade: Engaging in story time, crafts, a bread-sharing activity, and singing about Jesus' love and friendship.

  • 3rd to 5th Grade: Diving deeper into Bible reading, engaging in an art project, role-playing, and memorizing a key verse from Luke 22:19.

  • Middle School: Participating in an in-depth Bible study, reflective journaling, group discussions, and creative projects that connect the Last Supper's meaning to their personal experiences.

Florida State Standards Alignment: This lesson aligns with Florida State Standards in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Visual Arts, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.

Family Involvement: We encourage families to continue the conversation at home. The take-home devotional booklet will include reflection questions and coloring activities to reinforce the lesson's themes.
