Armor of God ELA
Dear Parents,
We are thrilled to invite your family on a meaningful seven-week journey through the Armor of God! This study is designed to help children understand how God equips us with spiritual protection and strength to stand firm in our faith. Each week, we will focus on one piece of the armor from Ephesians 6:10-18, explore a related Bible story, and engage in age-appropriate activities that will encourage faith-building discussions at home.
What to Expect:
Weekly Themes: Each week highlights a different piece of the Armor of God, including the Belt of Truth, Breastplate of Righteousness, Shoes of Peace, Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, Sword of the Spirit, and a final review of putting on the full armor.
Bible Stories: Your child will connect each lesson with a well-known Bible story that illustrates the importance of that piece of armor.
Family Engagement: Activities for different age groups (K-2, 3-5, and Middle School) provide opportunities for learning and discussion at home.
Worksheets & ELA Integration: Fun and meaningful worksheets will reinforce each lesson, along with reading and writing exercises to enhance comprehension.
How You Can Participate:
Read the weekly Bible story with your child and discuss how it applies to their lives.
Encourage your child to complete the provided worksheet and share their thoughts with the family.
Memorize key verses together and pray about how to apply God's armor in daily situations.
Engage in the suggested activities to make learning interactive and enjoyable.
We pray that this study strengthens your child's faith and deepens your family’s connection to God’s Word. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for partnering with us in this spiritual journey!
